Loan Boxes-Send and Ripley History Society

Send and Ripley History Society have been working with the Surrey History Centre in an Arts Council funded project entitled Learning on my doorstep. The object of the project is to offer educational materials that created a partnership with schools to deliver the new curriculum. Our new loan boxes and study sessions aim to offer something not just to the history curriculum but to look much wider.

To date we have developed the following loan boxes or study sessions:

* RIPLEY — A VILLAGE STUDY

* PRE – HISTORY SESSION

* TRANSPORT –SHAPING COMMUNITIES

* TOYS AND CHILDHOOD

* To come WORLD WAR II – LOAL HEROES

* To come SEND – A VILLAGE STUDY
